2013 Honda VTR-F250 Is a Japan-Only Treat

Those lucky Japanese riders! They and only they are going to get Honda's new small-displacement half-naked racer going by the name VTR-F250. A derivation of the initial VTR250 model, the new naked machine gets half a fairing and updated dash and headlights.

Now, Honda's half-naked bodywork designs are definitely not the most modern one can find: the 2013 VTR-F250 is so into the family of the new CTX700/CTX700N.. and Honda has made better-looking bikes, really.

However, the whole dull attire is saved by the new all-digital instrument cluster and he Y-style headlight in the vein of the new CBR250R. While the initial VTR250 was really a bike to mimic the Ducati Monster, the new F bike is definitely closer to the Honda heritage, even though the red trellis frame showing under the side panels is a most eloquent reminiscence.

The 2013 Honda VTR/F250 come with a 5-speed gearbox, delivering 29.5 HP @ 10500 rpm and 22Nm @ 8500 rpm (more than 16 lb-ft), pretty much in the same the waters the CBR250R floats. The prices are around $6,080 (€4,510) and $6,300 (€4,675) for the VTR and VTR-F, respectively.
