Jonathan Rea, Honda World Superbike rider helped with the official launch of the all-new CBR500R motorcycle, just ahead of the 2012 EICMA show.
First rumored and later confirmed, the new middlweight bike class from Honda is trying to meet the market's demand for smaller-displacement machines, sporting top-notch performance, yet for a more affordable price and with better fuel economy.
Along with the street version, Jonathan also introduced the racing model of the new 500-class bike, a machine which will be used in 2013 in the European Junior Cup, an 8-stage competition addressing racers between 14 and 19, and taking place along side the European rounds of the World Superbike Championships.
