2013 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special, Spawn of Darkness

If there's one Harley-Davidson bike to inspire some sort of fear, then it's the Night Rod Special. The 2013 version receives an even darker look, with all the elements getting a black shine about them, majestically contrasting with the few lighter parts.

The Night Rod Special is powered by a powerful Revolution engine, packing 125 HP and sporting top-drawer fuel injection, beautifully showing beneath the curved tank and sporting a shiny aluminium trim. The 1250cc unit is the most powerful Harley-Davidson engine to date and is capable to deliver both speed and low-rpm torque, making the 2013 Night Rod Special fun to ride in the city, on countryside roads or on the open freeway.

The bike is built on a hydroformed frame with peculiar angles creating a flowing yet compact design with less welding points. The Brembo brakes offer the needed stopping force force for this beast, and the ABS is optional as a component of the Security Package.

Forward-mounted controls create an aggressive riding position in perfect sync with the bike's mean nature. The bucket seat is designed to offer strong back support for fast throttle in complete safety. The 2013 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special comes with a base price of $15,449 (€11,949).
