GMC might have a brand new Acadia coming in a few years, but the current model is still very sellable, especially now that it’s received a facelift as it entered the 2013 model year. The changes include not only some stylish new touches to the body, but a refreshed and more ambient interior and some safety features.
On the outside, the Acadia is bestowed with a fresh grille with three bars. The vehicle also sports some fresh LED daytime running lights, new headlights and a more angular bumper. GM also offers up new sets of 18-, 19- and 20-inch wheels.
The Acadia Denali brings in extra luxury, thanks to a polished grille, interior wood trim, door sills and plush leather seats.
"While no restraint technology can address all body regions or all potential injuries, the front center air bag is designed to work with the vehicle’s other air bags and safety belts to collectively deliver an even more comprehensive occupant restraint system," said Gay Kent, GM executive director of Vehicle Safety and Crashworthiness.
