2013 Ford Taurus SHO Proves Track Performance

We think you’ll agree that most of Ford’s efforts right now are focused on offering this strange mix of performance and economy. They could have made the Explorer Sport more powerful than its competitors, but they didn’t because that would have ruined the economy, and that’s what people want apparently: a bit of go that will not empty the tank.
For those that want a big sedan that shifts its weight with grace, Ford’s answer is the updated 2013 Taurus with SHO Performance Pack. It’s all-wheel drive system is motivated by a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine, good for 365 horsepower. It’s no charger, but it will suit Ford fans just fine.

The new promo video released for the car show it tearing it up on the Grattan Raceway in Michigan. We especially like the naughty commentaries from the people that engineered the car, who say you can drop off the kids at school, then hit the track and nobody would notice.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
