It was only last month hat Ford unveiled the brand new Shelby GT500 coupe at the 2011 Los Angeles International Auto Show, and we were thoroughly impressed with the 650 horsepower output of the V8 engine underhood.
It looks like the supercar-like levels of grunt are enough to take on the new Camaro ZL1, but that has something the ‘Stang doesn’t a rag-top version. But that’s all about to change with the arrival of a 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 Convertible that will show up in Detroit next month, at least according to TopSpeed.

You can expect the same sort of cool colors and redesigned front end to arrive, as well as the track-focused setup that you’ll enjoy with the wind blowing through your hair.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
