The whole Ford Mustang range will get updated with the 2013 mode year that debuts at the 2011 Los Angeles International Auto Show, and we’ll start our coverage with the track-focused Boss 302.
The photo gallery provided by Ford is actually for the Laguna Seca version, which comes painted in School Bus Yellow, a new color that’s just been introduced to the range, and sports Steerling Gray accents. The facelift has brought a number of other cosmetic changes, including a new front fascia with a bigger top grille, a new splitter design and HID headlamps with LED surround taillights.
For 2013, the Boss 302 gets a removable grille cover and fresh 19-inch ally wheels with Pirelli PZero tires. The output of the 2013 Mustang Boss 302 has been raised a little to 444 hp from the same 5-liter V8, all of which gets sent to the back via a six-speed manual.
Look to see the 2013MY Boss 302 at dealerships early next year.
