Besides the Fusions, the Focuses and the Mustangs, Ford decided to bring something for the SUV fans as well to this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It’s a 2013 Fusion riding on a set of the most massive wheels they could fit.
The project is called the "VACCAR Urban Escape Adventurer project" and in typical new-age Ford style, it’s powered not by a massive V8 but by the 2.0-liter EcoBoost.
The VACCAR was built by wheel specialists Forgiato and rides on three-piece 26-inch wheels that are also 10-inch wide. They are wrapped in Pirelli 295/30R26 tires and follow the same color theme as the body: light gray shade and black.
The overall look is interesting, following the Explorer Sport body kit, but we would have liked a bigger engine. After all, this is SEMA.
