The 2013 EICMA brings really good news from Harley-Davidson, as we're witnessing the launch of MoCo's first truly new motorcycles on quite a long time. Yep, it's the new, India-made truly middleweight cruisers, the Street 500 and Street 750 machines.
Aside from H-D's historic decision to produce smaller-displacement bikes, it's the new Revolution X engine which stands as a landmark in the brand's history. This liquid-cooled mill so far power the two new bikes, but it's to be expected that the blueprints will also be used to upgrade the bigger engine line-up, as well.

The Street 500 and 750 are part of Harley-Davidson's Dark Custom line of bikes, and I must admit the bikes look very nice with their all-black livery. However, Harley plans to bestow their custom expertise on the new bikes, so we'll surely be seeing some sweet hard candy paint schemes and similar upgrades.

While some might disagree with the MoCo as far as these smaller, more affordable bikes, I'm pretty sure that the number of those who will go for the new, smaller, cheaper, yet fully-H-D machines will be overwhelming.

Welcome to 21st century engineering, Harley! Via Dani Prank's channel.
