2013 was the year when electric motorcycles shone bright at the Pikes peak International Hill Climb, with Carlin Dunne and his Lightning machine. However, this does not shame the classic motorcycles: au contraire, it's more like "game on" between the two types of bikes. And since we love both equally, here is a nifty gallery with Micky Dymond's Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak bike.
If you, and pretty much any other guys out there thought the new Multistrada was cool, prepare to what real cool looks like, as Asphalt & Rubber's Jensen Beeler had a close encounter with Micky's Pikes Peak racing bike.
Skipping the mandatory racing livery, we see a host of top-drawer parts, such as carbon disc brakes, Brembo brake components, liberal use of carbon fiber parts and covers, a dry slipper clutch and an exclusive Akrapovic exhaust made especially for this bike and this year's PPIHC. And by exclusive we mean there are only 6 such exhausts.
Enjoy the plethora of Falkner Livingston Racing machinery photos after the jump.
