The Hypermotard 796 version for 2013 is yet another twist to what Ducati has been doing since the first Hyper concept came to life: mixing the brute power of the L-Twin engine with the sporty nature of the speed bikes.
The 2013 model boasts a brand new Desmodue engine with air and oil cooling, delivering 81 BHP and 55.7 ft-lbs (59.6 Nm) torque, perfect for both fast city rides and the winding mountain roads. The crank design is rather imported from the 848 sport bike instead from the 696 and is lighter, stiffer, accepting more high-rev abuse.

The new Hypermotard 796 carries on the good heritage of the lightweight tubular Trellis frame loaded with a Marzocchi front end and Sachs rear suspension. The same folding mirrors are present, perfectly fit for both city and track riding, and the bike is ready for the racing Ducati Data Analyzer (DDA) system.

If you're looking for the ultimate handling combined with raw power and exquisite looks, the 2013 Ducati Hypermotard 796 might be just the right thrill.
