2013 Dodge Viper to Debut at New York Auto Show

Since the Dodge Viper went missing one model year ago, the Internet has been flooded with rumors about the new generation the car that recently reclaimed the Nurburgring mainstream supercar laptime record.

However, it is now time to enter the official area by telling you that Chrysler SRT Brand President and CEO Raplh Gilles told Viper magazine (print) that the 2013 Viper will arrive next April at the New York Auto Show.

We expect the previous report of the next-gen Viper having an upgraded 8.7-liter V10 engine to be true, but there’s another big question: since Chrysler and Fiat are now strongly connected, will the Viper receive any Italian flavor?
