Korea’s auto workers might be in for a rough ride, as production of the Cruze will be stopped there with the arrival of the next generation. But for now, the popular Chevrolet sedan will enjoy good sales as the facelift continues to be rolled out.
The Cruze Facelift, which isn’t available yet in America but is sold in Korea, was launched today in Malaysia, with pricing remaining unchanged from the pre-facelift model.
The car features revised grille, fog lams and headlamps plus some interior changes, including MyLink. The rear, however, remains unchanged for the 2013 model year. New 16-inch wheels have also been added to the car.
Under the bonnet, the model sold in Malaysia continues to offer the same 1.8-liter ECOTEC four-cylinder engine with 140 hp and 176 Nm of torque. Prices start at RM 103,888 (Malaysian Ringgit), which is about $34,000 at today’s exchange rates.
