Can-Am's base Outlander Max series comprises three"flavors", each with a different displacement and aiming to fit as many bills as possible. The 2013 Outlander Max is available in 400, 500 and 650cc versions, all three equipped for two-up riding and offering top-notch fun.
The 2013 Maxes come with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) and this means they are extremely easy to operate in casual conditions, even if the riders aren't very skilled: it's just throttle-an-go. In case things start rolling a bit too fast, you'll be happy to learn that all three units come with engine braking, helping tame the nimble engines.

All the 2013 Outlander Max units sport multi-functional, easy-to-read LCD screens for the essential riding data, such as speedometer, tachometer (bar graph RPM, bottom bar numerical RPM), odometer, trip & hour meters, diagnostic center, gear position, engine hour meter, 4x4 indicator, temperature and engine lights, fuel gauge, clock, all with auto shut off after 15 minutes.

The passenger backrest the multi-position passenger handgrips will add some extra safety on rough terrain, while the plethora of optional accessories will help riders add functionality and aesthetics to their Maxes. Base prices start at $7,649 (€5,750) for the 400cc Max.
