Buick has revealed that pricing for their new B-SUV, the Escape which will hit showrooms in early 2013, will start at just under $25,000 including destination.
The standard model comes in at exactly $24,950, including the $750 destination charge, and will be equipped the same 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with 138 hp as the Chevy Sonic. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can also have all-wheel drive for an extra $1,500.
Even the base car is relatively well equipped, coming with 18-inch wheels, a rear-view camera, 7-inch display and Bose Active Noise Cancellation.
Further up the pecking order, the Encore Convenience Group will set you back $25,760 and comes with remote start, fog lights, dual zone climate control and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.
The $27,460 Leather Group pretty much speaks for itself, as it adds leather interior, heated seats and steering wheel, driver seat with memory buttons and a powered passenger seat.
Lastly, there’s the Encore Premium Group, which costs $28,940 and brings Forward Collision Alert with Lane Departure Warning, a seven-speaker Bose sound system and park assist.
Options include the chromed wheels, which are $995 extra, a sunroof for $800 and navigation for $795.
