BMW has unveiled an all-mighty new M6, ready to stand toe to toe with the best fast coupes in the world. We’re not in love with the Convertible, but the Coupe is something to behold, with its carbon fiber roof.
The British press office has now announced pricing information for the 2013 M5 Coupe and Convertible. According to the official release, the Coupe is priced from £93,795 and the Convertible from £98,995, with sales scheduled to begin on September 15th, 2012. Almost £94k isn’t bad for a car that will do 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds!
Both these cars come with the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that’s both more powerful and more economical than the old V10. They also get a standard DSG transmission, an M active differential at the back as well as 19” Star-spoke forged alloy wheels featuring seven double spokes in a two-tone finish.
