The new 3-Series Sedan has finally shown its face a couple of weeks ago, and all attention has turned to the next incarnation of the mighty M3 four-door. Prototype versions of the mighty performance BMW have already been spotted, and a couple of stunning rendering have now been released by Bimmerpost.
Rumor has it that the car will make use of a direct injected V6 engine that displaces 3.3-liters and is based on the V8 in the new M5. We still don’t know if it will have two normal turbocharges or an extra one the is powered by electricity to provide extra boost low down, but this is likely to be the first force-induced regular M3 version ever. Expect output to be around 450 hp.
If you want your BMW M to have only two doors, you’ll have to wait a little longer, as the F32 Coupe has only recently started testing, as proven by our latest spyshots. Usually, the coupe is the first one to be revealed in the M3 range, so we find the order switch a bit strange.
Most likely, the coupe and convertible will bear 4-Series badges and will be called the F82 Coupe and F83 Convertible. These should be a bit longer than the current generation, and the spyshots show a taller boot, that’s also a bit more angular.
