2013 BMW ActiveHybrid7 L US Pricing

This is a notice for all the rich people who like to be chauffeured around the US: BMW has launched a hybrid version of it’s biggest car. It’s called the ActiveHybrid7 and it’s only available as a long wheelbase car for $84,895.
The car now uses a 3.0-liter twin-turbo straight-six with 320 horsepower that’s helped deal with the 7-Series boxy by a 55 hp electric motor. Combined, this powertrain offers 349 hp and a peak torque of 497 Nm (367 lb-ft).

This is enough to push huge hybrid sedan from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.7 seconds. What’s more, the hybrid can also go as fast as 37 miles per hour in all-electric mode.

To help it further save on fuel, the ActiveHybrid comes with features like egenerative braking and Auto Start-Stop.
