We've just finished detailing the new S3 Sportback when Audi released the first video showing the car in beautiful sideways motion. Yes, the new super hot hatch from Ingolstadt knows how to handle the ski slopes and isn't afraid to show it.
The three-door S3 was launched last year in Paris, but to make it more practical, the Germans have added two more doors and expended the wheelbase by 35 millimeters. Under the bonnet is the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine, producing no less than 300 HP (221 kW) at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) between 1,800 and 5,500 rpm.
With quarto all-wheel drive and a responsive yet relaxes S tronic gearbox, the S3 Sportback is all the car you'll ever need. And with large alloy wheels and quad exhaust, it's all the car some Audi fans will ever want, if they can't afford something better that is.
