The Audi RS5 coupe is finally making its way to US shores. The first examples arrived this week, and now Audi has announced official pricing, which will start at $69,795, including the $895 destination charge.
The RS5 arrives powered by the most extreme version of the 4.2-liter V8 that Audi makes, pushing out 450 horsepower through all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This translates into a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph, According to Audi of America.

The list of standard goodies now also includes features like DVD navigation, Bluetooth phone preparation, cruise control and Audi Music Interface iPod connection. As far as the optional goodies go, the main novelty is the Sport Package, which includes Dynamic Ride Control, sports exhaust, dynamic steering and 20-inch rotor-design titanium-look alloy wheels (19-inch wheels are standard).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
