In case you can ride an ATV on the mountain trails without the extra protection offered by a windscreen or handguards and are interested in the functional aspects of off-road riding only, then you might be interested in the 2013 Arctic Cat TRV 550 XT.
While very well prepared to face the obstacles of off-road touring, this quad keeps a rather low profile, but there's definitely more to it than meets the eye. Retaining premium features found in the upper segment machines, the 2013 Arctic Cat TRV 550 XT brings forth a convenient power steering system, enhanced stability thanks to the sway bar, top-notch automotive-style paint and aluminium rims shod with Duro 3 Star Kaden tires.

The passenger seat sports a tall backrest with thick padding and solid rubberized hand grabs offering enhanced security and a reassuring grip on really rough terrain. Just like Arctic Cat has gotten us used to, the TRV 550 XT has a dual-ration automatic transmission, switchable 2/4WD and differential locking, engine brake and firm disc brakes.

The front rack can hold 100 lbs (45 kg), while the rear one can accommodate a top case or can simply be loaded with gear. The base price is $10,199 (€7,600) and multiple accessories are of course, available as optional equipment.
