Here's the 2013 TRV 550 LTD,a trail touring ATV which completes the premium Arctic Cat range, aimed at those who enjoy two-up riding into the wild and who value comfort while on tour.
The mechanical platform is the same one powering all the great Cats: an H1 engine (this is the 545cc version) sitting in the Arctic Cat "Ride-In" suspension, providing a lower center of gravity with no compromise on the ground clearance and passability characteristics.
With 11" (28 cm) of clearance and independent double A-arm suspensions (10" or 25 cm travel), this quad could easily go where the other brutal off-road beasts would, but offer a more pleasant ride. A generous windscreen and hand protectors shield the rider from the elements, while the heated grips offer more convenience during the cold season. The rear top case also has a large padded backrest for the passenger, while the rubberized grabs provide stability when the going gets tough.
On the tech side, the 2013 Arctic Cat TRV 550 LTD offers the usual treats: selectable 2WD and 4WD, high and low range, automatic transmission with power steering, adding a 3000 lbs winch (1359 kg) and Duro 3 Start Kaden tires, all for $11,199 (€8,370).
