2013 Arctic Cat TRV 500 Core, the Basic Two-Up Setup

If basic two-up trial touring on a budget is the goal, the 2013 Arctic Cat TRV 500 Core is well worth checking out. Ditching pretty much all the frills, this ATV retains all the sheer functionality one would expect from such a vehicle: if you can live without power steering, aluminium wheels and the likes of these, then we might have a winner.

The 443cc injected engine is coupled to an automatic, dual-ratio transmission, with easily switchable 2/4WD and a convenient reverse gear. For steep descents, the engine braking is there, a neat complement for the 4 hydraulic disc brakes and adding to the safety and comfort of the ride.

The 2013 Arctic Cat TRV 500 Core is all about function: if you feel like riding two-up and want to add on the safety side, the rear seat can receive a backrest, neatly adding to the existing hand grabs. If work needs to be done, a larger rack can also be installed for increased loading capacity, and you'll get a cargo box, too.

Easily switchable from work to play, the 2013 Arctic Cat TRV 500 Core is one of the really nice do-it-all ATVs with an affordable price: $7,999 (€6,030) base price tag.
