The 2013 model year has brought a refresh for the Acura RDX and the vehicle is set to arrive in dealerships across the US this spring, with the carmaker charging a base price of $34,320 for it (this doesn’t include the $885 destination charge).
The most important change took place under the hood, where the turbocharged four-cylinder unit has been replaced with a V6 engine that delivers an extra 33 hp, while offering an increase in efficiency. This is matted to a new six-speed auto tranny, while buyers can opt for four-wheel drive, with the option retailing for $1,400.
Since we’ve reached the optional extras topic, we’ll also mention the $3,700 technology package, which includes goodies such as the Acura Navigation System, a hard disk drive (HDD) with 60 gigabytes of storage capacity, , a GPS-linked solar-sensing, dual-zone automatic climate control system, Acura/ELS Surround Premium Sound System, a power actuated rear tailgate, projector beam headlights with Bi-Xenon High Intensity Discharge (HID) bulbs and front fog lights.
