Acura’s vehicles have already been featured in ‘Thor’ and they will once again be the prime choice for the S.I.E.L.D.’s fictional agents in the big-screen version of Marvel Comics’ ‘The Avengers’ series. Taking advantage of the media offensive for the summer blockbuster, Acura has also created a commercial for the all-new RDX crossover.
Seeing a young couple (target audience) being chased around explosions and lightning bolts will obviously make the RDX look like a sportier version of itself, one that’s also prepared for an alien invasion.
The RDX is already available for order in the US, with prices starting at 34,320 (the price doesn’t include the $885 destination fee). We’ll remind you that the four-cylinder turbocharged engine has been ditched in favor of a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 273 hp.
