Those of you that are looking to spice up the exhaust note of your 2013 or 2014 model year Shelby GT500 should know that MRT Performance is now offering an interceptor axle-back exhaust system.
Available at $995, the system features a free-flowing design that improves the flow of exhaust gases, 304 stainless steel construction, CNC mandrel bent tubing and comes in a matte black Cerakote finish with 4-inch polished quad tips.
MRT says there’s no drilling or welding required for installation, as the the exhaust is “a direct factory replacement that clamps on”. Once fitted on the musclecar, it will provide “a pleasing performance exhaust note”. We’d rather describe it as a breathtaking grunt, but we’ll let you decide by watching the video below.
