As we say goodbye to the model that made them famous, we bid a warm hello to the Model S, Tesla’s first in-house developed sedan. Well ahead of the on-sale date next year, the California carmaker has announced full pricing and options for the electric car.
There are only two trim levels available, the basic one and Performance. For the base car, there are three different output battery versions, the with 40 kWh, 60 kWh and 85 kWh, priced at $57,400, $67,400 and $77,400 respectively, all eligible to benefit from a $7,500 tax credit.
The range-topping Performance-spec Model S only gets the top 85 kWh battery and is priced at $87,400 while also being eligible for the tax credit.
