The 1951 Kaiser is a very good looking car, without any modifications whatsoever, yet with some creative thinking and good taste, it can be ‘improved’. We found this Kaiser Dragg’n Specs, with a 6-inch chopped roof, flush shaved trim, flipped bumpers and lots of chrome, at this year’s edition of the SEMA show, held in Las Vegas.
Its sleek side profile, further accentuated by the aforementioned chopped top, is complimented by an air suspension kit, courtesy of Slam Specialties, as well as a notched frame, making the car sit extremely low (at least when stationary). To keep the high-chrome look, the builder, Keith Charvonia, has chosen a nice set of chrome wheels, by Wheel Vintiques OE, which are fastened with Bullet center caps and lugs.

Under the bonnet, it features a 5.7-liter LT1 small block V8, which has been given an Airraid intake system, Borla headers, and a straight exhaust, for that extra bit of eight-cylinder rumble. Inside, the car has been retrofitted with a 1965 Ford Thunderbird interior, keeping the ‘period look’, while being different and unique at the same time.
