The Hyundai Genesis is a very well balanced, well designed and very quick sports car, with the most potent incarnation of the car producing some 345 hp, from a 3.8-liter V6 engine. However, Cosworth have gotten their hands on one, and have given it a special makeover, for the SEMA show, in Las Vegas.
This very blue car now produces 389 hp, courtesy of some light engine wizardry by Cosworth, and it also gains some areo updates, such as a front splitter, rear spoiler and a new rear diffuser, as well as a lightly-upgraded interior. Suspension and brakes have also been fettled-with, and the car is now lower and stiffer. The big racing brakes are plainly visible through the black lightweight wheels, which give the car a mean and aggressive look.
The exterior finish looks very good, and is a satin-blue, with a partially blacked-out bonnet, and various black accents. If Hyundai were to put this into very limited production, it would definitely win over a small cult following, while also boosting their sports-car kudos considerably.
