We can't tell you exactly why, but one of the most natural feelings we've had while shooting the custom creations displayed at this year's SEMA show appeared when we met the Chevrolet COPO Camaro Convertible.
There's something about seeing a drag racer at a custom car event that pushed all the right buttons for us. And this is no ordinary drag strip player, as we're talking about the only unit which has its 327 ci V8 powerplant, which, by the way, is fed y a 4.0-L supercharger, mated to a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic gearbox.
Only 69 COPO Camaros were build this year (next year we'll see the same number of units coming to life), out of which just two are open-top models. This is also one of the 12 units that are dressed in Inferno Orange, so the man, or woman, who will get behind the wheel of this monster is going to be one lucky person.
