For the 2013 model year, SLP will take the already sexy and impressive Chevy Camaro and make it that much sexier and more impressive. No, this is not the ZL1, because the project is actually based on the Camaro SS, which has been fitted with an incredible long list of hardcore mods.
SLP builds four flavors for the car, the 560, 585, 700 and this, the ZL600, but only 250 combined units per year, all covered by the same 5 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
Produced by SLP and only available through Chevrolet dealerships nationwide, these 2012 ZL Supercharged Camaros offer the very best parts and a blend of road usability mixed in with head-turning style.
To get the Camaro SS engine to produce the 600 horsepower, SLP fitted their high-output supercharger kit, upgraded the block with aluminum rocker arms, high-lift springs and titanium retainers, while also adding a SLP Loud MOth II exhaust system and SLP Blackwing cold air induction system.
SLP also changed the wheels to their own 20-inch ‘black chrome” rims and introduced a number of cosmetic touches, such as a new splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser.
