Renault must have been so excited with the little tweaks it made so of its models that it just couldn’t wait for next year’s Paris Auto Show, instead opting to reveal a facelifted 2012 Laguna Coupe at the Bologna Motor Show today.
This car’s svelte looks and Aston Martin-like lines are very close to our hearts, and we’re pleased to report that for it has been bestowed with LED daytime running lights in the form of a vertical “L” shaped bar.
Other changes include a new set of alloy wheels (a new 18-inch design also available) and standard sat-nav. The engine range is carried over as is with the exception of the base diesel, the 150 hp 2.0-liter DCi, which is less thirsty, thanks to the ESM system (Energy Smart Management) which lowers fuel consumption and emissions.
There’s also a couple of special editions that have been announced, namely the Monaco GP and the Monaco GP Racing, the second of which has nothing to do with going fast and everything to do with a customer package allowing customers to take an Formula 3 car for a drive.
