2012 Renault Koleos Facelift Pricing Announced

After revealing the facelifted variant of the Koleos some two weeks ago, French manufacturer Renault today took us by surprise announcing the pricing details for the model that is set to go on sale this October, shortly after it will make a live appearance at the Frankfurt Auto Show.

The Renault Koleos has been slightly changed for 2012, receiving both exterior and interior tweaks. However, the most noticeable mods were made at the front of the car.

The French crossover will be offered in a choice of two powertrains and two trim levels. Specifically, customers will get to choose from the dCi 150 and the dCI 175, in the Carminat or Exception equipment level.

Both engines come with 6-speed manual gearbox - the dCi 150 can also get a 6-speed automatic - and can be coupled with front-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive powertrains. Renault also claims the new Koleos is also more efficient, as the CO2 emissions for the dCi 150 engine are only 148 g/km.

Standard equipment on the 2012 Renault Koleos includes parking sensors, hands-free entry, automatic dual-zone climate control, Carminat TomTom Live navigation, an electronic parking brake, alloy wheels and Bluetooth.

Exterior colour choices include the non-metallic Glacier White, plus the metallic Perle White, Metallique Black, Mars Grey, Argent Grey and Mineral Beige.

Pricing for the 2012 Renault Koleos Facelift in France start at EUR28,400 for the Carminat dCi 150 4x2 variant. Customers who want to buy the top-of-the-range variant of the model will have to get at least EUR34,900 from their pockets (Exception dCi 150 4x4 six-speed auto).
