2012 Porsche 911 Cabriolet US Pricing Announced

The moment fans of both flat-six engines and the sun awkwardly comes in late Autumn, but we’re still happy with the fact that Porsche decided to drop the all-new Cabriolet version of the 2012 911. The big news is that the model will get pretty much the same profile view as a Coupe when the top is up.
Starts at $97,300 1 photo

Not wanting to boast, Porsche just says the new model has a wider track, is lighter and more refined than its predecessor.

The 2012 Carrera Cabriolet will go on sale in the US starting in spring 2012. The base 911 Carrera comes with a 3.4-liter flat-six with 350 horsepower. It’s capable of pushing the drop-top to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and achieve a top-track-speed of 177 mph when fitted with the optional PDK. However, the base model with a manual takes 4.8 seconds to 60 and costs $97,300.

The more powerful Carrera S version has 400 horsepower and will set you back $108,800.
