2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is an interesting little crossover with more character in a compact package than the full-sizzed Outlander. Despite not having the financial might of GM or Volkswagen, Mitsubishi has managed to create a decent platform, which now underpins the Peugeot 4008 and Citroen C4 Aircross French crossovers.
The Outlander Sport is also a very safe vehicle, as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety named it its Top Safety Pick.

This rating only applies to the 2012 or later model year crossovers, as these models come with a new roof structure that’s stronger, and this shows in roof strength tests.

The 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport received a "good" test score in the following key areas of evaluation:

• Front impact crash testing
• Side impact crash testing
• Roof strength test results
• Rear crash protection/head restraint ratings

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
