Yesterday, Mercedes dropped the first set of images for the brand-new ML63 AMG that will bow at the 2011 Los Angeles International Motor Show tomorrow, and it’s now followed it up with a nice, pong video of the powerful SUV in action.
This is your first chance to hear the new 5.5-liter twin-turbo doing its thing in an SUV. It usually packs 518 hp, but for a few extra bucks, Mercedes can fit the AMG Performance Package with 550 hp.
The new generation of ML63 AMG only has 15 more hp, but it will get much better economy, which is expected to be improved by 33 percent. However, you won’t be able to call it slow either, because Mercedes says it will do 0 to 60 mph (98 km/h) in just 4.7 seconds.
