As a brand, Infiniti has already announced its green ambitions with hybrid sedans now and electric ones later. And the question of what’s next after that has been answered by the Emerg-E Concept. This sexy-looking little two-seater is apparently the way of the future, and it will make its official debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
The sportscar is basically their way of exploring what’s next in a couple of ways. First, you’ve got the range-extender technology, which allows you to floor your electric motor and enjoy the performance, but still keep the mileage.

Infiniti also hopes to show what they will be two generations from now. It’s sensual, curvy and the back is still sporty. We especially like the front grille, even though it’s looks a bit Lexus-made. Also, the interior is very special, and that drive model selector looks like it’s operated with a finger

autoevolution will be attending the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
