Compared to the old car, the 2012 i30 comes with better styling, improved safety and of course more standard equipment. The car follows Hyundai’s fluidic sculpture design language, which results in elongated headlights and a beautiful three-bad grille.

In Britain, the i30 that arrives at showrooms around the country today is available in combination with four engines (two petrol and two diesels) with five power output going up to 128 PS. There’s even an eco-diesel model that combines the 1.6-liter displacement with Intelligent Stop & Go to deliver emissions of just 100 g/km of CO2.

“The new generation i30 represents another leap forward in terms of Hyundai’s design, refinement and build quality. Coupled with our generous standard specification and backed up by our industry leading Five Year Triple Care assurance, the New Generation i30 truly represents the complete package for customers looking for a high-quality vehicle at an affordable price,” says Tony Whitehorn, President and CEO Hyundai Motor UK.
