This week, the Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) awarded its highest honor to the all-new Hyundai Azera, which was named a 2012 Top Safety Pick.
The results come after the institute conducted a number of tests that determined the Azera does a 'good' job in front, side, rollover and rear crashes.
Hyundai can also boast with the Enantra, Sonata, Genesis, Equus, Tucson and Santa Fe all having the same award.
“Having a great recipe of safety equipment baked into the all-new Azera put it on the top pick list,” said Scott Margason, director, product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “The Azera takes ESC and seating to the next level, by adding the ability to automatically counter steer the car from pulling too much in one direction and further reduce head and neck injuries through an impact reducing seat structure.”
