2012 Honda Crosstour Facelift Revealed

Honda has retouched its troublesome blend of wagon and crossover with a facelift. Yes, the looks of the Crosstour have been changed a bit, to make it a bit more appealing. This is Honda’s second facelift revealed this week, once again for a brand new vehicle that was badly designed when ti was launched.

Power for the $27,230 base model comes from the .4-liter, 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine that produces 192 hp and 162 lb-ft (219 Nm) of torque. Mated to a 5-speed automatic gearbox, it returns 22 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 25 mpg combined.

New to the 2013 model is the 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine from its Earth Dreams series, the new one developed for the Accord. This produces 278 hp and 252 lb-ft (341 Nm), returning 20mpg city, 29mpg highway and 23 mpg combined in the case of the front-wheel drive model or 18mpg city, 28mpg highway and 22 mpg combined for the AWD. Prices for the 2WD start at $30,890, while the 4WD EX-L will set you back #34,990.
