Honda’s British division has released the pricing for the new Civic, with the vehicle already being available for sale and bringing a multitude of new features.
Customers can choose between three engines, two petrols. a 1.4-liter unit with 100 hp and a 1.8-liter one with 140 hp, and a 2.2-liter diesel with 150 hp. All models use a six-speed manual, but the 1.8-liter petrol can be ordered with a five-speed automatic transmission.
There are four trim levels available, SE, ES, EX and EX GT, with customers also having the option to order a T-Grade package. The entire range now comes with start stop technology and with the ECON switch, borrowed ftom the Insight and Jazz hybrid. This control the vehicle’s management system in order to reduce fuel consumption.
The standard equipment range is now richer, including fresh items such as Honda’s Intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) 5-inch dashboard screen, daytime running lights and others.
The entry level version, fitted with the 1.4-liter unit and using the SE trim, will set you back GBP16,495 OTR, while at the other end of the scale we find the version using the 2.2-liter oil burner with the EX GT trim level, which can be your for GBP26,595.
