This price has been set for the base S sedan while the SE sedan will cost $18,999 and the hatchback SE will be priced at $19,899. The more better equipped SEL versions will sell for $21,499 for the sedan version and $22,399 for the hatchback one. The top of the range Focus Titanium will sell for $24,499 and $25,099 for the sedan and hatchback versions, respectively
The most exciting of all the Focus models offered, the Titanium, brings with it sport-tuned suspension as standard, complete with stiffer springs and dampers. 18-inch alloys, low-profile summer performance tires and a trunk-mounted full-size spare are also up for grabs in the handling package.
The Canadian Ford Focus will come with an extensive range of options, including the 6-speed, dual-clutch automated transmission and either a SE Sport Appearance Package or a Leather Package and navigation system for the SE and Titanium trim levels. Several other unique features, like seven colors ambient lightning, will also be offered with the Focus.
The new Ford Focus goes on sale in 2011 and will be offered with multiple engines, each specifically optimized for reduced fuel consumption and low emissions.
The backbone of the powerplants will consist of the new 2.0l gasoline unit, which delivers, according to Ford, more power than the current 2.0l Duratec, while keeping the fuel consumption figure within acceptable limits (40 mpg/5.88l/100km).
