2012 Ferrari FF Enters Chicago Showrooms

Ferrari makes its entrance into the U.S. automarket slowly but with guaranteed success. 612 Scaglietti’s successor, the FF was brought last week to Chicago as a part of a national marketing program. From a total of 36 U.S. Ferrari retailers, two of them are located in Chicago, the Lake Forest and Continental Autosports. Each retailer will receive probably two FFs to deliver at by end of the year.

The manufacturer expects that the 660-horsepower Ferrari FF will be sold in an estimated 200 units, topping this way Ferrari’s best seller California. It is forecasted that the FF will have a major impact in the US supersport auto market being designed by Ferrari as a “multipurpose” sportscar. The Ferrari FF offers the choice between taking a ride in the nature along with the family or, going on the other side, it can complete the Fiorano circuit as fast as the Ferrari 599, as related by kikingtires.com

The car displays a slight resemblance with the 458 Italia, when looking at it from the front, and also shows a resemblance with the “oldtimer” BMW Z4 coupe, the profile gave it away. When taking a closer look at the “multipuropose” feature of the FF there is obvious that that the adults in the back will have to adopt a uncomfortable position in order to fit inside, but it is better than nothing at all. Aside the slight shortcomings the FF delights the owner with plenty of stylish leather and, and with an interior which has better finishes than its “relatives.”
