The BMW 3-Series is about to receive a new generation, but we can’t just sit around and wait for the Bavarians to launch the new 3er. We had to do something, so we went out looking for a rendering of the car.
We reached Bimmerpost.com, where we found the one you see here and it seems that we’ve got really serious material here. As we previously reported, the F30 3 Series was spotted undisguised. The rendering was created based on the aforementioned images, as well as on indication offered by a BMW insider known as Scott26, who has seen the car’s design.
The most important visual feature is the fact that the angel eye headlamps are now connected to the kidney grilles - a move that has been used before, but only on concept cars.
The aforementioned source adds that the new 3-Series is expected to be presented by the end of the year. As for the market entry dates, the car should arrive in the US next spring, while making its European debut at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show.
