The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power is an event that celebrates speed, motorised thrills and that sweet result of our beloved engines’s internal combustion, power. The organisers have recently announced that the 2012 edition of the event will be held between June 15 and 17, one month earlier than the usual July schedule.
The Pageant will take place Cholmondeley Estate in Cheshire and will use its fith edition to bring us a wide range of displays on land, water, and in the air, as well as a series of mini-events. Want a sample of what’s going to happen? Just take a look at the adjacent image.
This year we also added an additional day to pack it all in. The Pageant has grown very fast, but one element that has remained constant throughout the first four years has been the poor weather. Analysis of the last 10 year weather patterns show that in this region, July has been a third wetter than June and so the decision has been made to bring the event forward a month,” explained James Hall, Event Director at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power.
