2012 Chevrolet Sonic Graphics Configurator Launched

We understand pimping out your Camaro SS with flames or a Bumblebee scheme. But we never thought a sensible, economic sub-compact like the Sonic should be a sensible budget car for beige people with gray ambitions, right?

The online graphics configurator for the 2012 Sonic aims to prove us wrong by showing more extreme makeovers than we though possible. To be honest, we expected to see stripes for the length of the car or flowers for the female customers, but full wraps are aplenty, and we’re not complaining.

You can have graphics that are a bit more subtle, but we went all out with ours and ‘bought’ the Freestyle wrap for a massive $2,860, which should make the Sconic look as cool to our friends as a Mercedes SLS for about two minutes. Money well spent!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
