Autobots assemble, and listen to the might of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS Transformers Edition, as it roars into life after a long slumber on the spaceship that brought Bumblebee from the planet Cybertron.
This time, the yellow Camaro is found not in America, but in Itally, at the Imola track, where it’s testing its track day might against Europe’s best.
For the 2012 model year Camaro, the Transformers Special Edition will be offered as extra package for just $3,000 (€2500). The kit brings the striking yellow paint, black rally stripes that cover the hood, roof, decklid and the unique rear spoiler.
“The Transformers franchise has helped introduce Camaro – and Chevrolet – to a whole new generation of fans,” said Rick Scheidt, vice president of Chevrolet marketing. “Its role in the films helped make the Camaro the best-selling sports car in America, and one of the best-known cars of any kind around the world.”
