Seeking to receive more and more attention form the public, automotive producers and film makers are crossing the borders of traditional advertising, with this concept being blended with what we used to know as “movies” far deeper than before.
Gone are the days when characters came with assets such as dancing abilities and physical strentgh. Now a movie star must have all-wheel-drive and head-up display and, of course, a leather finish.
At least this is what Audi wants us to believe, with the automotive producer teaming up with the FX US cable channel to produce a series called Untitled Jersey City Project.
Every Sunday night, we get a new two-minute episode, with the series scheduled to run for eight weeks, with the creations also available online.
As for the star... you’ve guessed it, the 2012 A6. However, Audi claims that every episode “supplies a piece of a puzzle involving men working for an architectural firm who are hiding a dark secret.” You can enjoy the first two episodes here.
