ABT Sportline, the world’s biggest customizer of Audi models, recently unveiled their program for the brand new A6 Avant. From the looks of things, this is now the coolest big boat of a car out there, especially given its new, more masculine chin and headlights that look like squinting eyes.
ABT calls their kit the AS6 Avant and offers a number of cosmetic changes that start with a custom rear spoiler and a rear apron that integrates the four exhaust pipes. Their design is somewhat rectangular and follows the upward flow of the rear bumper towards the middle. Basically, if you want your car to look like an S6, ABT has what you need.
The ABT Audi Q3 sits on custom design alloys available in 19, 20 or 21 inches, wrapped in performance tires. And speaking of performance, the tuner has addressed both forced induction V6 diesel choices available for this model and raised the output quite a bit.
We’ll start with the upgrades for the diesels, which cover both output versions of the 3.0-liter TDI. First off, the less powerful 204 hp version is now capable of delivering 240 hp, just short of its stock big brother, which is boosted from 245 horsepower to a full 300 horsepower.
On the petrol front, the 2012 Audi A6 Avant’s 3.0 TFSI engine has been bumped from 300 horsepower to no less than 420 horsepower, making it capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 Km/h (62 mph) in 5 seconds dead.
