2011 Yamaha MX Riding Gear Launched

The British division of Yamaha has recently introduced the 2011 motocross riding gear line-up, featuring eye catching colours and graphics, as well as advanced design and construction features. Comprising the Yamaha MX Pro-Limited Edition and MX Start equipment, the gear is aimed at both amateur riders and professional racers.

Taken separately, the new 2011 MX Pro–Limited Edition riding gear is designed for the pro rider in mind, ”the rider that will stop at nothing to achieve the goal of winning and never settles for second best,” as Yamaha says.

The MX Pro jersey (GBP46.99) is made from a lightweight breathable material with mesh inserts for comfort and airflow.

Meanwhile, the MX Pro pants (GBP132.99) are made from Armortex, a Nylon and Kevlar fibre mix, offering exceptional durability and safety.

On the other hand, Yamaha MX Start riding gear is the choice of beginner off-roaders. “As well as showing your allegiance to the Yamaha brand with its bold print design, the MX Start riding gear provides you with fantastic spec, combined with exceptional value for money,” the company brags.

The lightweight breathable jersey (GBP35.99) features raglan cut sleeves and a V-neck collar for comfort, whilst the Armortex pants (GBP106.99) give you similar levels of protection as those of a more expensive kit.

In addition to the jerseys and pants, riders can opt for matching gloves for both gears. Both the MX Start gloves (GBP28.99)and the MX Pro gloves (GBP35.99) use a ventilated micro-mesh core construction with Airprene panel at the wrist, silicon print on palm and fingers, Clarino synthetic leather palm with additional layering in high impact areas. The MX Pro have added knuckle stretch inserts.
